I am almost coming to the end of my rotations and for a first rotation, i had a lot to learn from basic patient management, performing lumbar punctures, learning from the more experienced seniour doctors.Its been an amazing experience.
One of my seniors doctors attended a conference a month ago in France for RICAI(Reunion Interdisciplinaire de Chimiotherapie Anti Infectieuse) and he presented a very interesting subject.....The use of corticotherapie in leptospirosis with particular interest patients presenting with thrombopenia.
I will try to give a brief summary of Leptospirosis...professions at risk,clinique presentations, complementary exams and treatment.
